Founded in 1932 by the late W.P. O'Kane, O'Kane Poultry is strives to offer the consumer value for money, while maintaining the highest standards of product quality and customer care.

In May 2010 Moy Park announced its intention to acquire O’Kane Poultry Limited. The coming together of the two businesses will bring significant opportunities for market development and expansion of the poultry industry in Northern Ireland.

O'Kane's is a vertically integrated organisation operating its own feed mill, two hatcheries, and two processing plants. With over 500 contract farmers rearing birds, O'Kane's employs over 1200 people throughout the province.

While O'Kane's workforce reflects today's increasingly multi-cultural society, employee welfare is paramount. Our philosophy is to develop and nurture our employees during their time at O'Kane's. In co-operation with local colleges we have been able to develop personal skills programmes as well as work-related training.

The group encompasses both chicken and turkey production, and produces over 500 different product lines - ranging from traditional roasting chickens to more modern, ready-to-eat convenience products.

O'Kane Poultry supply branded and own-label products to both the retail and food service sectors throughout the UK and Ireland. We celebrated our 40-year partnership with Marks and Spencer in 2007.
